Energy Audits (ASHRAE Level 1, 2, & 3):
Services for auditing the energy performance of existing buildings and provide feasibility study for Green Certification possibility and plan. The audits result in recommendations for changes in assets and operations that can deliver improved energy performance for the property and ensure indoor fresh air for occupants.
The primary objective of Energy Audit is to determine ways to reduce energy consumption per unit of product output or to lower operating costs. Energy Audit provides a “bench-mark” (Reference point) for managing energy in the organization and also provides the basis for planning a more effective use of energy throughout the organization. It aims at:
- Identifying the quantity and cost of various energy inputs
- Assessing the present pattern of energy consumption in different cost centres of operations
- Relating energy inputs and production outputs
- Identifying potential areas of thermal & electrical energy economics
- Highlighting wastages in major areas
- Fixing of energy saving potential targets for individual cost centres
- Implementation of measures for energy conservation & realization of savings
This Energy Audit follows ASHRAE Protocol
- ASHRAE Level 1 (Walk through assessment)
- ASHRAE Level 2 (Energy Survey Analysis)
- ASHRAE Level 3 (Detail analysis of capital-intensive modification)
- Develop a building energy simulation and performance monitoring system
